Vision & Mission
Grow together, point the way to the future and redesign the fashion trade!
This self-image drives us. We have a clear idea of why the fashion industry needs us and how we want to change it for the better. Our vision and our mission give us and all our members meaning in our actions.
Our vision
As competent and connecting contacts, we gather the sustainable fashion world behind us and provide inspiration, innovation and cohesion - for a world in which ecological and fair fashion is the new normal.
Our Mission
We define what sustainability means in the fashion industry.
In this way, we create orientation, offer protection against greenwashing and promote solidarity for all who engage with us.
As ambassadors of this
We are cooperative, forward-looking and transparent in our commitment to sustainability. We actively seek dialogue with our stakeholders. In this way, we inspire others, make the fashion industry more sustainable and facilitate sustainable business.
Values
In a constantly changing world, we take a clear stand.
Our six core values guide our work and define how we work together.
» We are consistently sustainable.
For us, this means only producing fashion with clearly defined social
and ecological production standards and our members
to support sustainable working and action practices.
» We are honest.
For us, this means acting and communicating honestly and conscientiously –
among ourselves, towards our customers, suppliers, colleagues and the
general public.
» We are transparent.
For us, this means showing what we know and don't know, what we do, what we stand for and where our limits lie. We provide insight into our processes and developments and deal openly with mistakes.
» We are competent.
For us, this means acting on the basis of our knowledge, constantly expanding and passing on our knowledge. We consult fact-based, recognized sources and strive to always be up to date with the latest research and practice.
» We are connecting.
For us, this means bringing people together. Our community
in the association is characterized by non-violent communication, openness, tolerance and
Authenticity. In this community we learn from each other and exchange ideas.
We celebrate the beautiful moments and our successes.
» We are pioneering.
For us, this means working and standing up for a sustainable world.
We promote and represent sustainable trade and show that new
economic concepts are possible. We are setting ecological and social standards
and motivate others to be part of the movement.
